Replacement Vodafone LTE USB

HI,

I require a replacement USB LTE modem which came with my HG659 Router on the Vodacom Business LTE package? Ive searched near and far and it seems only Takealot has it quite expensive. If im forced to then ill have to buy from there. However, this is a Huawei K5160 so can anyone confirm is the router will still perform the dialup function if the modem is not running vodafone firmware?

Shouldn't Vodacom Business replace the modem if it is faulty? I thought that modem is setup by Vodacom Business and locked to that specific home gateway?
