Report shows iPhones still boast more storage than Android on average

Despite consumers often complaining about the low storage on entry-level iPhone models, Apple's smartphones offer more storage than Android devices on average.

This is according to a new report from Counterpoint Research, which also found that the average smartphone NAND flash capacity crossed the 100GB mark for the first time in 2020.

The report stated that advancements in cameras, Application Processors (APs), and displays in smartphones have stimulated increased storage demand for videos, images and other multimedia applications.

Anyway, I refuse to debate iPhone vs Android. They both have pros and cons. Pick the one you like and be happy with it.

I am an iFool and don't really care about storage space. A 200GB iCloud storage account is cheaper @ R45/m (for good measure, I also have a 200 GB Google One drive, I think it's around R35/m). Hell, use the savings from a 64GB iPhone to take out the SO on a fancy dinner For real, the saving between an iPhone 12 mine 64GB and the 256GB bigger brother is R3,5k.
