Reputable AMD vs Intel Comparisons

Anyone know of reputable (and unbiased) sites that give decent comparisons between the relevant AMD and Intel processors?
 
ummm we all know amd kicks intel in everything but mp3 encoding seen so many things about it

simple if you want a cpu buy amd
if you have intel throw it in the rubbish bin
cause its kuk
 
RVF, i have to be a sheep and say the same as everyone else.
I have worked with both and I say AMD is king atm, next year who knows.

thats my "reputable" knowledge.:D

Just google AMDvsINTEL you will finds most state AMD
 
I must admit that AMD has the upperhand in the processor market atm, as evidenced by the HUGE stockout situation most importers are experiencing atm...

I know for instance that Pinnacle Micro have over 6000 AMD processors on backorder atm.

In the end it actually come down to what you want to do with your machine...

Gaming etc. = AMD
Graphics/Video Rendering = Intel
 
Intel will catch up before the end of the year with their new architecture so for those people who are not slobbering rabid fanboys there will be more choice in gaming platforms ;)

I think Intel's only real strength at the moment is on notebooks where you need a slightly longer battery life - their mobile chips use a little less power. That's about it.
