Request Telkom Area ADSL max speed upgrade?

I've got a Telkom 4mbit ADSL line and have been asking Telkom for 5 months to upgrade it, but every time they say my area max speed is 4mbit. Of course fiber is not available, otherwise I'd get that.

I asked who I can speak to, to get somewhere with this. The lady at the call center said I must speak to the Counselor (I think she meant Chancelor), but couldn't give me any contact details.

Is there a procedure whereby one can get some attention on this?

Maybe you should be considering LTE if it's available in your area?

But LTE is expensive per GB, and Vodacom is unreliable in my area. I live out in the bundus.

Hmmmm, do you do loads of downloading? how many GB?
