Resale value of SD PVR I

Anyone know what is the resale value of a SD PVR - Time for me to move on :)

They are quite in demand. You should get around 3500.00

IRG - move on to HD probably, yes or the new provider - meanwhile studying and no time for TV :(
 
OK, I've listed at R 3K on gumtree, so let's see if that's the price...

R3000 for the SD PVR??? Isn't the HD almost that price?

(Yes I know the difference and the SD has a better track record) but still? GEEZ!
 
Haven't tried BoB - but that sounds like a good alternative to gumtree - will update my price when it is sold.

Wait til your HD one freezes while you're recording a show... :(
 
I think I've gotten to a stage where my HD PVR doesn't bug me anymore. I must admit, I'm on the second one and having to go into MC itself to get it exchanged was not my idea of fun, but this one works pretty well. No hangs, burps or funny business. It just works and works well too. I was a little worried in the beginning that I made a mistake getting rid of it, but in the end I'm happy.
 
Yeah, I'm not bothered with the slight sluggishness of mine either. You sit in front of the telly to relax so why get stressed out about a slightly slow responding menu system
 
Sold for R 3000...

FYI
Multichoice tested EVERYTHING with the buyer present, so happy seller and happy buyer. Also did the transfer of ownership the works.

Well done to N1 City Multichoice for customer service.
