Sprinkle it around damp areas where flies are (dustbins etc) or dampen cotton wool and sprinkle it on that.
Not sure how pet friendly it is because I don't have dogs.
Certainly seems to work.

The flies die instantly and you find them next to the bait or, they end up dropping dead elsewhere?
If i get this i need to understand so I know where to place the bait.
I'm not sure Ecco because I sprinkle around the dustbin and in the garden outside the kitchen windows. I haven't seen any corpses near the bin so I'm guessing the poison takes a while to kill them.
I must just say again that stuff works well.
