Resign, UCT SRC head told

So I wrote an email to Max Price and the SRC President:
Good day,

I take great exception to your suspension of Zizipho Pae based on her religious convictions. You gentlemen may have misunderstood the rights of individuals as enshrined in our Constitution . The right to sexual orientation is not superior to ones right to freedom of speech and freedom of religion. The fact that gay marriages have been endorsed by our courts doesn't mean that people lose their constitutional rights to criticise such marriages and are now forced to endorse such marriages to the prejudice of their religious beliefs.

The fact that your university has bowed down to pressure from atheistic homosexuals who are hell-bent to ban anybody who criticises homosexual marriages places you in the same league as countries like Saudi Arabia and North Korea who persecute those who disagrees with them. As a university you are supposed to be the safest place for freedom of speech and actually encourage your students to share their views regardless of how unwarranted they are; as long they are not covered by our constitution, instead you are the persecutors of those who dare practice their freedom of speech.

For the SRC that has fought for the removal of Rhodes statue, to now practice persecution against its own members based on her religion shows just how disingenuous it is. Even worse the same SRC has persecuted the most vulnerable of all people - a black young woman. It is shameful and you need to be ashamed of yourselves.

I hope you will reinstate Ms Pae and defend her constitutional right to freedom of speech and religion just as you have done with the right to sexual orientation.

Had I been Max Price, I'd burst out laughing. In fact, I'm not even him and I erupted in merry laughter.

It's disgusting how this young black woman has been treated by intolerant homosexuals and their supporters, to the point where her physical safety has been threated.

She doesn't go around persecuting homosexuals and getting them fired from their positions and university based on the fact that they have same sex.

If she could, she most likely would have. She is an intolerant idiot.

Her job as a student representative leader is to represent all students regardless of their religion affiliation or sexual preference or any other differences they may have. If she shows bias or reservations to any groups of people she is supposed to represent she should step down from her position.

Where did she show bias? And based on which actions on her official duties did she prove that she doesn't cater for the needs of a section of the students?

“We are institutionalising and normalising sin! Sin. May God have mercy on us.”

so that's not bias towards LGBT?

People have been fired for making derogatory comments about racial groups, how is this different?

Firstly, where did she mention LGBT students in UCT from her post?
Secondly, gay people are not the only students at UCT, so get over yourself.

Shame to gays. For decades they were persecuted for their lifestyle, yet they are the first to persecute others for their religious freedom. You would think they would be the first people not to persecute others given the persecution they went through. Shame to them.

Hahahahahahaha! This is the funniest **** I've ever read on the Internetz:D

Most importantly, Christians aren't the only people at UCT. Get that into your head.

Zizipho Pae is my hero. For such a young woman to stand up for Christ the way she did is wonderful to see.
