Revamped MTN website riddled with bugs, say users

yeah i also complained to local MTN Corp supplier... i used to go to MTNSP.co.za, which now directs to mtn.co.za, but lot of it is not working or just (more than usual) bad.

maybe a new guy at MTN trying to make his mark... or somebody just bored?

I can't understand how an multi-national company with so much money and resources can roll out such an amateurish website which obviously has not been tested at all. The mind boggles.

The new one is a whole lot better than the old one at least.

They should have had a dev page up and running before going on a live production to see if they can find all links that are broken. I noticed there are a lot of errors, getting 404, outdated details etc.

Kinda reminds me of Telkom's attempts at upgrading their site. Old programming that has been poorly skinned with a new look and feel.

Having to log in to mtn.co.za, shop.mtn.co.za and mycontract.mtn.co.za?
At least Telkom's ducktape and chewing gum joining of different systems carries across your session.

They also don't have the Yello' Trader pamphlet for download which now means I must make a trip to the MTN retail outlet to pick up a copy, as the deals in the online shop and the Yello' Trader is not the same.

They finally updated their old site  Did hell freeze over? Looks way better I must say.

MTN and MTN SP are now merging into one company. Got an SMS from them earlier on this week explaining this. Only thing is the SMS refers to the mtn.co.za website for assistance. I have searched that website till i'm blue in my face and cant find anything on this?

you would think a massive company like MTN would go through a thorough testing phase before making something live. The fact that old URL's aren't working is also not good practice. At the very least you setup redirects for the important ones.

I just want to know how to get the new Promo pdf.

Old link doesn't work.
