If I'm selling my Cell C modem and SIM to someone that can't come with to me the store (ie Cape Town) - is it possible to have the card deactivated on my side and reactivated once he gets it and RICA's himself?

last i heard yes,

the sim won't work once you deregister until he does.

I guess u can get it transferred to him, I doubt there is a deactvation. Maybe you can get him to do a sim swap and he carries all the headache. Not sure if it'll work.

Maybe CG knows better, I'm only guessing.

Off Topic: Do we HAVE to register before June guys?
What if you don't?
How do you register?

Not sure when is deadline day but if you not registered, you will be cut off from your network until you do so.

Where ? Almost anywhere, vodashops, cell dealers (including the pakki guy on the corner) edgars, checkers, incredible... Just get it done, not hard work.

Thanks guys!

It seems even current Cell C subscribers aren't interested ;)

Good day Dolby

the best bet will be to take who ever you sell it to, to the cell c store and can deactivated it and reactivated all at once.
