Good team except maybe for de Jongh. I don't regard him as a good 7's player.

Good squad. I'm so glad Habana is not chosen. He's definitely not 7's quality.

+1 Habana isn't quick enough anymore and his defensive style isn't suited for 7's. Glad the regulars are the guys getting to play...

or Benjamin, thought he would be better suited than de Jongh.

Japan stun New Zealand

Japan produced the biggest shock in Rio so far with their 14-12 defeat of New Zealand in the fourth match of the Men’s Sevens. Teruya Goto handed Japan the perfect start with his early try, converted by Lemeki Lomano, before New Zealand hit back before half-time thanks to a try from Scott Curry to leave the two sides level at the break at 7-7. Akira Ioane then powered his way over to put New Zealand in front, but patience in attack from Japan was rewarded by a try for Kameli Soejima, with Katsuyuki Sakai converting for the crucial two-point lead. Injuries saw Sonny Bill Williams and Joe Webber leave the field assisted by medical staff before Japan clung on for win, the ball going into touch deep in their 22 to cause an enormous upset.

New Zealand struck by the injury demon again. Sonny Bill out for up to nine months with a partially torn Achilles Tendon in their first game. Joe Webber possibly out with a dislocated shoulder.

Wow France and Japan beating the two teams from down under.
Well done Japan.
