far right leaning policies are "understandable" from a cultural/racial preservation perspective etc.... but its actually not particularly good for business..... especially for the elites in American society ,for whom nothing comes before profit and gain.....

I get the sensitivities around race past injustice and discrimination make these topics tricky, and I get why people call out language that hits those nerves.

From what I've seen, the media and online pileons framed Kirk's comments as inherently racist right out of the gate, often without the full context. Take that "prowling Blacks" line from his 2023 rant: He was reacting to a viral video of Black teens messing with a white woman's rented bike in NYC, calling them "young thugs" who troll people for kicks and lose them money. He tied it to urban crime patterns where he believed groups target folks "for fun," but yes, specifying "Blacks" there was inflammatory and unnecessary, easy to see why it landed as bigoted, even if he meant gangbangers, not a whole race.

I do not think he was a racist at heart.

He believed that the real drivers of issues in black communities like disproportionate crime rates (e.g Black Americans, ~13% of the population, accounting for about 55% of homicides) weren't skin color but cultural factors. He specifically pointed to fatherlessness in households (citing stats like 85% of youth in prison from fatherless homes) as the biggest predictor of cycles of poverty and violence, not biology.

He railed against a "victimhood mentality" that he thought kept people stuck blaming systems instead of building personal responsibility, echoing black conservatives he revered, like Thomas Sowell (on family structure and welfare traps) and Ben Carson (on rising above odds through discipline).

IMO It's tough love from a conservative, not hate.

Yup,
Not much metal left on that can they've been kicking for so long, and it's showing up in ways that's hard for the human brain to correlate easily.

Once you see it, you see it everywhere. Even the NASA budget is now at an all-time low, scientists fleeing the country for greener pastures etc... one of the best signs of cash shortage and societal focus shifting away from the things that were hard to quantify but ultimately led to the US being the biggest player in the room with economic benefits that go way deeper than simple ROI calculations.

Here's a really satisfying video that popped up on my feed the other day that show the rise and fall of empires over the past few hundred years. The US had a good run, but it won't be surprising if it ends in the next few decades. I'm betting on China taking over completely, not because they don't have problems, but I simply cannot see how having that much industrial power can be challenged in the near future. When service and financial centred economies falter, the guy who stands is going to be one that deals with reality, resources and can build stuff, regardless of how they do it and which ideology they impose or skate on.


I think it's important for the US to sort out their social issues, but it will come at a massive cost.

The FBI is releasing a video of the shooter in the Utah Valley shooting. The subject is seen jumping from the rooftop of a building after the shooting. Around 12 p.m. Mountain Time on September 10, 2025, the subject climbed up to a rooftop; after he shot and killed Charlie Kirk, he jumped off and ran away. He left a gun and ammunition in a wooded area near the university. Trace evidence collected from the rooftop scene included shoe impressions, a forearm imprint, and a palm print. They'll go to war and throw everything at it if there's ever a serious threat to the reserve currency, precisely because it will bankrupt them since they have no way of paying back that debt...
