All Over...
What do you guys think...Would it not be NICE...if you could buy, lets say...a 30Gig CAPPED account, but can roll-over to the next +- 3 months? Some of us buy capped accounts and don't use everything ( although you have ALREADY payed for your 30 Gig ). Total RIP-OFF don't you think?...or is this where the "uncapped" guys get THEIR data from

Some ISPs can supply those accounts. Theyre just more expensive per GB.

join the uncapped crowd, much better value & freedom, and much less worry.

Uncapped is just so much less hassle. If you don't use much data in a month it doesn't really matter either. It's not like you've "lost" bandwidth that you paid for.

Usage on the non prepaid - most ISP's only form of profit.

You will notice that prepaid is normally a certain percentage more expensive. This usually corresponds with the percentage of unused usage. The ISP makes the same amount of profit then.

ISP's only pay Telkom for what actually gets used.

Yeah but then you gotta worry about shaping/throttling etc. Ain't nobody got time fo dat.
If you're ending the month with data leftover on a 30GB account then I don't think you're gonna get near the throttling/shaping threshold on uncapped

Well it depends. If you want 10mbps uncapped, it will cost you way more than buying say 35gig capped at Afrihost.. R797 vs R299

So it depends on your speed and usage.

Still have to add R425 for the line..
