RIP Paul Walker

Capitalise on Walker's posthumous appearance?

But in all honesty, I don't think it would be right to cut him out of the film.

The movie would have made money with or without him anyway.
If they can get the story (using that word loosely here) going on with what he has shot so far - then why not?

The Crow had scenes where Brandon Lee where was digitally enhanced (for what it was worth back in the day anyway) after he died on set.

And I'm sure there must be other movies where this kind of thing has happened before too.

Hmmm.... Movie execs planning on capitalising on Walker's posthumous appearance?

But in all honesty, I don't think it would be right to cut him out of the film.

It was posted earlier on in this thread that they are in negotiations with his brother who looks similar to complete the last few scenes.

And I'm sure there must be other movies where this kind of thing has happened before too.

There have been a few. Interestingly a host of actors including Jonny Depp signed up to complete Heath Ledger's role in The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus

Yep, that was the first one that springs to mind.... a confusing jumbling mess of a movie, but still gorgeous to look at. :D

Continue?

Good god how many are they going to create?

PORSCHE SUED OVER CRASH THAT KILLED PAUL WALKER

The wife of a man who was driving a Porsche sports car that crashed and killed "Fast and Furious" actor Paul Walker is suing the automaker, alleging it designed a faulty vehicle.

The wrongful death and negligence lawsuit was filed Monday in Los Angeles by Kristine Rodas, the wife of Walker's friend and business partner Roger Rodas.

The lawsuit against Porsche Cars North America claims the company's 2005 Porsche Carrera GT suffered from design flaws and had a malfunctioning suspension that caused the November crash and both men's deaths.

Authorities have cited unsafe speed as a cause of the crash. But Kristine Rodas' complaint says her husband was driving the Porsche at 55 mph (88.5 kph) before the accident.

An email message sent to Porsche seeking comment was not immediately returned.

feck off, bull**** rubbish lawsuit-happy crud.

A top driver called it "scary," the magazine reported Sunday. It is powered by a V-10, 610-hp engine.

I'm pretty sure the guy wanted to show off and went a bit too fast.

Huh, was that Porsche Carrera GT not suiped by Roger Rodas as with his other cars. Cannot get his website now, but that Carrera on his website was by no means stock standard, should that thing had more than cosmetic changes, then it can cause certain structural integrity issues. Should this be the case, then Porsche will go into this case, hard.

At least two of the tires were more than nine years old; Porsche recommends that tires be replaced after four years. As a result, CHP investigators wrote that "the driveability and handling characteristics" of the car "may have been compromised."

Investigators also noted that the Porsche's horsepower had been boosted by an aftermarket exhaust system.

Perhaps the family hopes that Porsche would settle to avoid a legal battle in public where a famous person has died
