Saab created what I believe was the only asymmetrical turbo setup on the 9-5 3.0t V6 from 1999-2003. It was bolted onto one bank of cylinders while the remaining 3 cylinders went straight through to the exhaust bypassing the turbocharger.

The design is around 9-10 years old & still looks showroom fresh today. Impressive.
