Ripe and vulnerable

Microsoft's Live Search is a dismal failure... and the only reason it has 12% of the search market is because it is the default on many computer systems.

But to be honest, Yahoo search is not much better.... it has had its day long ago. I really can't see MS turning the search engine and portal around.

Microsoft should rather cut back to its core business... Windows and Office. Chuck the rest. Give us super streamlined and ultra powerful Operating Systems and Productivity Software and let the profits start rolling in again. As much as I hate to say it... that is what MS should do.

They are involved in too many different areas instead of focusing on their core business which has made the company what it is today ie OSs. They could then release (cheaper) better, more efficient OSs more often.
 
Just buy it already Steve. I hate Larry Ellison (OK Oracle is good, but expencive). This has been dragged out almost as long as the Telkom/Vodacom thing and lets face it, life is much more like Egoli and not 7de laan. Thing must happen fast !

It does hey.... Unless you fork out R470 for Dstv Premium and you watch top quality local ones like Egoli and Binnelanders. :p

But then again you could always go and look at the american and cheap local junk on SABC....
