Roaming - SA and Zimbabwe

I could not find a post relating to this.


Every-time my Vodacom(pre-paid) sim card goes into Zimbabwe, the data stops working. Voice and SMS works 100%, but no data. The data roaming has been activated.

I have spoken to a simcard provider regarding this, and they have informed me that the issue comes from unsettled data bills between the companies.

Has anyone else experienced issues like this? Or any advice?

I am only struggling with Zimbabwe.

Prepaid data roaming is not available in many, if not most countries.

What we did last month when we were up that way was we bought a local sim, loaded data on it and shared a hotspot on it from an old phone and we connected to the wifi hotspot.
