Roaming, using cell as modem on laptop?

I've got a samsung D600 and it comes with software that lets you set this up with a wizzard...but basically it's just the modem that changes, like the previous poster said.
 
Which phone do you have?

I know that with the Nokia PC Suite there's an option to connect to the internet and no other settings are necessary.
 
My concern isn't with connecting the phone to the midem, it's to do with roaming.

If I set up my phone, Nokia, via PC Suite in Cape Town, do I have to change any settings when I use the pc & phone Cairo or Moscow?
 
No, if the setup works in SA on your home network, if you're roaming on a network they have a data roaming agreement with it'll work on that network. Just at 50 times the price!! :D

No you should never have to change his settings at all the only thing you will have to change in a setting inviroment is the manual network selection that's it
