So they better be watching his assets and bank accounts as me thinks there will be a lot of capital flight likely via SA.

Wonder if his wife is gonna make an exodus via SA? Don’t they have an assault charge against her here.. and she isn’t a 1st lady anymore..

Wrt Mugabe & Zimbabwe.. I think South Africans have a lot to learn about liberation and doing so in an orderly manner before its forced upon us.

If you ask me, I’d say it’s the one reason why SA’s future still hangs in the balance. Let’s not forget that much like SA, they too had a period where everything seemed fine and dandy.. till Mugabe decided to force expropriation as land restitution just wasn’t happening and they abused power to appease and retain control.

Now I don’t care what color you are but if you have a brain cell that works, you know that land restitution is coming whether you like it or not. The only question is how orderly this process is.. and if business and employment is a indicator of things then SA’s future is pretty painted in Zim. Plain and simple.

And you can try and claim it’s the ANC, EFF etc but the reality is the country will always be unstable if minorities act as gate keepers against a majority. It’s simply not sustainable.. and only fool won’t realize this.

From 1983 - 1987 Mugabe killed some 20 000 blacks in Matabeleland.
Apartheid was blamed by the TRC (Tutu Revenge Comrades) for a total of 7000 deaths in its forty years of existence. The ANC, in its early years, killed off an estimated 360 000 AIDS/HIV sufferers.
Under ANC guidance, some 20 000 people (about 85% males) have been murdered every year since 1994.
Nobody ever speaks about the thousands of blacks that died during the Angolan and Mozambican Civil Wars that ravaged those countries when it comes to pure numbers of dead people in Southern Africa. It’s a disgrace that South Africa is only ever remembered for people who died in detention, hanged by the old regime or killed covertly by members of Vlakplas. The atrocities in Zimbabwe under Mugabe’s rule is testament to another African despot and dictator who sought only to better the lives of himself and his conniving buddies in ZANUPF. Not to mention the stolen elections......

My only analogy is to compare the opportunities presented to each of the citizens of Zimbabwe and that was presented to the citizens of Singapore when they achieved independence from Great Britain. People will say … oh no you can't compare the two but why not ..... Singapore doesn't even have the Agricultural Land that Zimbabwe has, yet they took their country after independence from Britain and made a huge success of it in a couple of decades and while they had no agricultural land to spare they decided to become a financial hub and here today Singapore is called the Mini-Switzerland of Asia, a former British Colony. Zimbabwe on the other hand, known as the bread basket of Africa took their situation and turned it into the basket case of Africa and yet you will hear praises from people like Julius Malema. It’s the African Conundrum, the more you steal and stuff up your country the more praise you receive which means the people giving the praise are the problem.

Waiting to hear what the ANC has to say about Mugabe as we had literally two decades of silent diplomacy here in South Africa.
Also waiting to hear what Helen Zille (The Singaporean Colonial Tweet Lady) has to say about Mugabe.
Sort of ironic that Mugabe died in a Singaporean Hospital....a former British Colony. Perhaps he felt closer to home there with its old Breetish roots.

It shows that she was absolutely right. Singapore took their colonial legacy and built it into something that even the most rabid racist African tin pot dictator recognized as the best in the world.

If you're religious, find solace in the fact that he's being chewed on by Satan himself in the 9th circle of hell, and no amount of praise from the ANC can change that.
He was a demagogue, personally responsible for the murder of his own people en masse.... , yes the white farmers were his people, along with the Shonas he had murdered for personal gain.
If hell exists, I hope those measly 95 years were worth it.

What Mugabe did with their currency... I doubt we'll ever see hyperinflation like that in our lifetime. That deserves a double outstanding.
That said, hyperinflation is back under the new president. I wonder if he can outdo Mugabe.

Exactly!!

I still say it’s because the African way is this odd NEED to Reinvent the Wheel in the figurative sense of the word, instead of copying and/or improving existing systems and get on with life they would rather continue fuelling their own Katemba & Tendertrepeneurship Businesses, essentially producing nothing new that does not already exist in this world, while blaming white people for their own shortcomings, lack of evolutionary experience, call it what you want.
Basically the African man never evolved on their own which in reality could have taken Africa or Sub Sub-Saharan Africa at least another 2000 years to happen as these people just recently emerged out of barbarism and had it not been for the wreck of the Haarlem in 1647 and the chain of events that followed they would still be as they were....

The other day I was at Freddy Hirsch, the Spice Shop on Voortrekker Road in Cape Town and I commented to some people there that what we take for granted, the very spices sold there in that shop on Voortrekker Road could be attributed to old sailing ships, the pioneering spirit of the Voortrekker ancestors (on Voortrekker Road lol) and the people that lay buried in the old parts of Maitland Cemetery just across the road. If it was not for them I/we would not be standing there in that shop buying products. Nobody got what was I saying, I may as well been talking to the wall from the blank stares I got. That’s the problem with South Africa, the people don’t really understand our history or even have the imagination to grasp it and for that and many other reasons it grates me that Ramaphosa can call Mugabe "Outstanding" twice. Mugabe would not have been in a Singaporean Hospital if it was not for the Breeetish and their mark on that countries history.

They all need History lessons, the ANC anti colonialism rhetoric is bordering pathetic and downright ignorant.
