Does anyone have one of these? The little round ones that scurry around the house by themselves.
 
I do.

Eats cables too. Keep away from PC, especially the mess that is my PC :)

He is good, but he doesnt really like carpets that much and he gets trapped under my couch sometimes. Also, I found the battery life isnt that amazing. That said, because it is quite a fuss free thing to do, I will let him run every second day and that obviously means less time for dirt to accumulate so it is a shorter vacuum with less interuptions to clean the filters (the 'bag' where it all gathers up is quite small so in the beginning we needed to empty it out mid way through...).

Great on tiled and wooden floors and a fabulous source of entertainment if you have cats in the house.
 
Ok the thing is i'm not really concerned about how great they clean, I just miss having pets so I want something running around my place :(

Then it's perfect, it missions around the house does its chores then plugs itself in once it's done to "sleep"... after a quick nap its out and about again.
 
I'd like to get one although my pitbulls might want to play with it.

Might also be a nice moving throne for my princess cat.
 
I can't get a cat. I'm used to having indoor/outdoor cats. I'm on the 3rd floor.
 
A year since this thread was last posted to. I'm keen on getting one of these specifically because we have a dog that sheds hair all over the place. Anyone have opinion, experience, advice, propaganda or slander to share on the subject of robot vacuums in South Africa?

My dog sheds gas but I am pretty sure it is not air.
