Yes we know each other and have talked quite a bit. I don't really want to act on my feelings for her.

Well then there's only one option - tell her about your feelings. Either you get laid and it works out for the best for you then, or she resolves the issue for you...

Dude forget what everyone else at the office say about her and check it out for yourself. Everybody has a different perception about a person and you shouldn't too much stock in what your source says unless you know that this person looks for exactly the same thing in women as you do. Otherwise just forget about her. Either way getting to know her doesn't mean marrying her. You sir are being too cautious.
 
What do you have to lose by making this a sideline project. At least that way you will know instead of wondering. Talk to her about it and see what happens, if nothing then move on, if something then check your options and whether or not to be cautious. Just don't let her tie you up and take pics, that would be terrible LOL

No... we need a picture to make that decision. You can just edit the eyes out with a black strip and technically nobody can give you stick for posting her pic because you blocked her identity.
