Cables seem fine. When it starts charging the first LED starts flashing, then after a while the second one, but then it never goes further. Just the second one that keeps on flashing.

Erm...I may have done that a few times yes...didn't think it will cause the thing to break though.

Fyi, turns out you were right. Noticed the next day my cable doesn't work. Plugged it in elsewhere and voila.

Finally caved and got a proper power bank...Anker 20k.
Was either that or a Romoss.
In hindsight should have gotten a 10k one not 20k...its pretty heavy for travel.

Anker is the awesome. I bought 6 pack of Anker USB cables and a 5 port desktop charger a couple of years ago. Don't remember how life was without them

Yeah...previous 2 non-name brands died a bit too quickly so was necessary.
