Who was the best?

I just had to start a thread myself for a change.

Zidane - Best player since Maradona. In the top 10 greatest ever players

Zidane, although Ronaldinho was better to watch.

Messi reminds me alot of Ronaldinho. When i was in Spain, supporters told me that they only watch Barcelona play to see what Ronaldinho is going to do next with the ball.

Ronaldinho is doing decently at milan.I just think its unfair to compare a player who is still playing with one who's career is over. It's like comparing Cantona to Henry etc.

hmmm that would make a good comparison.

I LOVED CANTONA. Oooooooooh Ahhhhhhhhh CANTONA!!!!

Henry - well we all know enough about him.

Tough one.

Zidane, the man practically defeated Brazil by himself in the last world cup :D

Ye I remember that! The commentator said there only one Brazillian on the field and hes playing for France!:p

Zidane wins, Ronaldinho went through a bad patch, Zidane didnt and he finished his career in style!:p

I'd take Cantona over Henry any day. That man had cajones and big ones at that.

Doesn't anyone miss the hardmen of English footy? Wise, Jones, Cantona etc? The Wimbledon Crazy Gang? *sniff* Those guys were legends :)

My fave chant? OOOO AAAA CANTONA! LIKES TO WEAR A GIRLY BRA!!!! :D

Zidane by a country mile ,my favourite player of all time ,made football look easy and gracefull i swear that man played with roller blades :D

another point Zidane was robbed of a fourth world player of the year by Cannivaro for that headbutt, at the age of 35 the man was still regarded as the best in the world and single handedly took france to the final

Ronaldinho had 2-3 brilliant years ,and was finished at 27 :D

I reckon Ronaldinho could have been one of the absolute greats - but he fscked it up for himself. Just like Ronaldo (THE Ronaldo), just like Adriano, just <insert overwhelming talent that is an idiot here>... That's why the greatest players have not only talent, but a strong work ethic and that little extra drive that pushes them to heights at 35 that are not achievable by the majority at 27.

Allez Zizou! Allez!
