Hopefully next time your area has better luck.Yip, and what good did the by elections do us. Anc still won.
Sorry, I meant the municipality. Take them to task. So not really Eskom's fault. Even though Eskom is a cesspit of corrupt politicians and gupta clan.My account is up to date up until Jun 2022, because that is the last accounts we received form the municipality.
How is it our problem when the municipality doesn't pay their eskom account.
My account is up to date up until Jun 2022,
As long as non tax payers are voting in national elections, the odds will never be in your favour.Yip, and what good did the by elections do us. Anc still won.
Funny how it works. If my power on prepaid hits zero I just get cut off full stop.
Our municipality is corrupt for sure, but not sure what we can do.Sorry, I meant the municipality. Take them to task. So not really Eskom's fault. Even though Eskom is a cesspit of corrupt politicians and gupta clan.
Yes you're probably right. But then other issue is, nobody wants to do it. We just buy bakkies to get through the potholes or put up solar to get away from the loadshedding. If people are voting for a corrupt govt you may have to considering creating a forum or something similar to take the municipality to court. Others have done it. It's not cheap but it's either that or leave.
Ja, sadly to stay in SA now requires hefty investment from you.Yes you're probably right. But then other issue is, nobody wants to do it. We just buy bakkies to get through the potholes or put up solar to get away from the loadshedding.
Poep teen 'n donnerstorm.
This is true.Ja, sadly to stay in SA now requires hefty investment from you.
Weapons, med aid, solar, boreholes...
Government does less than FA now...
It's really sad. Specially in your smaller towns where you surounded by pure incompetence. Our municipality is corrupt for sure, but not sure what we can do.
Every now and then the people that actually want to work gets chased out of their municipality or tear gas is thrown in the offices, so there is so much infighting that nothing gets done.
But yeah, the brain dead will keep voting for the anc, so nothing we can do.
Same BS here in eastern freestate , load reduction .I guess so. But our municipality is one of the ANC municipalities that defaulted on their payments.
At least in our by elections last week the smart voters voted for the anc again, so we're going nowhere slowly.
I heard on the radio while waiting in the car for my wife that Emfuleni (Vanderbijlpark & Vereeniging) is also being subject to this.Town that I know are affected:
Lichtenburg North-West
Bothaville Free State
So far I see a pattern of Anc led provinces.
Who else?
Eskom does load reduction on areas that are supplied directly by Eskom, if the location doesn't get load reduction it's because they probably don't meet the requirements for load reduction, not because it's full of ANC voters.Same BS here in eastern freestate , load reduction .
Town is on municipality , but the location is on Eskom where the voters live. they don't get load reduction
Any Proof ?Eskom does load reduction on areas that are supplied directly by Eskom, if the location doesn't get load reduction it's because they probably don't meet the requirements for load reduction, nor because it's full of ANC voters.
My village is supplied directly by Eskom, we don't get load reduction because people there still pay for their electricity and don't tamper with Eskom infrastructure.Any Proof ?

Soweto is supplied directly by Eskom and gets load reduction, because they don't pay for electricity and tamper with Eskom infrastructure.
That's how it works, it doesn't depend on the number of ANC voters in an area.
