Been using one as a game drive for like 7 months now , zero issues.Hi Guys
Has anyone used these SSD drives? Looking for some feedback.
Thanks
Kitty
Rogueware has the intention of hitting the lowest price point in the market by a large amount.

Using a 1TB of theirs, working nicely for a few months now.
The problem is that none of this is relevant to the new model.Still at 100% Health
The box (and likely invoice) hasn't changed. The disti even lists the old part number on their stock file, so you don't get what you're ordering anymore. I questioned it when I saw the serial number has a new format and the drive itself has physically changed.NX200M sadly don't have the box on hand anymore but recall it only being an NX200M as per box design and invoice and part no
Will have to keep an eye on new stock coming in i know we have not had an RMA request as of yet but with the new drives being changed and built cheaper i am sure this will change might have to look at an alternative for my end users then. The box (and likely invoice) hasn't changed. At the rate TAL orders RW SSDs (several thousand per month), that stock is probably only a few days old which means 100% new internals if it affects external SSDs as well (this I don't know). Will this be old internals or new? https://www.takealot.com/rogueware-ex100m-1tb-usb3-2-type-c-external-solid-state-drive/PLID93448745
I think the issue is some of their really budget ssd's use very low quality parts, it's like playing with fire.Cant complain about the Rogueware SATA SSD quality, I recently bought one and very happy with it - you need to read up about the brand more - and look at the chips inside the drives, they the same as those used in way more expensive drives. And they are in a similar league to Lexar, Western digital etc. The Rogueware SSD drives are not made in SA. Rogueware assembles other peripherals and computer furniture in SA only.
Their SATA SSDs are way faster than 2.5" spindle HDDs like WD and Toshiba. and makes a dramatic improvement to any device that used to run on that type of HDD. So if you want to breathe new life into an older laptop I would not simply overlook this brand. In my experience the actual read/write speed was better than a number of other well known SATA SSD brands.
The NX100S performance is similar to the Crucial BX series SATA SSDs. And installing the Rogueware SSD was a breeze. It has a 3 year warranty and will most likely have the same lifespan as other similar consumer SSDs on the SA market.
I have no vested interest in this brand, but it deserves more credit than its getting on this forum.

How long what the warranty?I also had a 1TB NX100S die on me, doesn't get recognised in Windows and Linux. Was about 1 year old when it died.
Got it in an unboxed deal from TAL in Nov 2023 so 6 month warranty had expired when it died. How long what the warranty?
