Backdrop (ignore if you will):
I am looking to replace a router due to three main issues. It's older (going on its sixth year), able to only support 54mbps while my extension handles 300mbps wifi, which is a major issue due to me often transferring files. Second is wifi drops, the antenna is damaged and thirdly it's signal strength is weak, even before the antenna damage.
So, any router to suggest that has a strong signal (preferably able to dual 2.4 and 5) and at least 300mbps wifi. Any suggestions between R500-R1500?
