Please could someone assist me with the basics for setting up a router that can be accessed from anywhere on the internet by using domain that I got from dyndns.org using my routers IP.

I've got a Wireless Router (Globesurfer III) that three PCs connect to. I want to have access to this network from anywhere via the internet/remote desktop etc. What do I need to do?

1. Pick the PC that will be your landing point inside your network.
2. Investigate and choose and install on that PC the remote access software that will suit your needs.
3. Test the software using your internal network (i.e. access the PC from another machine inside your network).
4. Determine the ports that the software is using on both machines.
5. Now configure your router to forward the ports in the same way.
6. Now try to connect from outside using the external IP Address only.
7. Now try to connect using the dyndns.org domain name.
