RSAWeb down in my area

People down on the South Coast as well, seems like RSAWEB is having issues.
 
The whole country is down I think. Luckily if it is such large scale, it should be resolved soon
 
Yeah I tell you when it becomes a battle just to do your work then it’s time to just throw in the towel
 
Everything is down. Even tel lines. Think you can only email them. But that would be of no use, they know the problems by now, so we must just sit and wait
 
Seems like the whole country is down, follow them on Twitter for updates. Their phones are also down.
 
Big RSAWeb outage

Internet service provider (ISP) RSAWeb was hit by a major network outage on Wednesday, leaving its customers without Internet connectivity countrywide.

RSAWeb first posted a network notice at 06:51 AM on its Facebook and Twitter pages, informing customers that it was observing a service-impacting event on its cloud.

“Networkstatus.co.za showed a surge in reports about issues on RSAWeb from just after 06:00 AM, with 165 reports in the past 24 hours up to 09:15 AM. That compares to a typical daily average of 56 reports.“

Ja thats a bit misleading. I checked that site just when the problems started and there was about 20 reports. Then the average daily reports was 6. So the 56 average is just because of all the reports today
 
Luckily I cancelled and went with an ISP that knows how to setup redundancy ;)

I'm with Axxess for home, which works well.

My work however relies on RSAWEB.
Man they have a lot of outages compared to Axxess....

The only damn reason I’m still with them is the stupid penalty I have to pay if I move before a year, and then the downtime inbetween moves. The stupid Telkom tower only lasts for an hour during loadshedding so I can’t depend on that
