I'm also less than pleased with MTN as of late (+/- 8 months) and will also leave them ASAP once my contract expires the end of this year.

Thing is, I hear that people are struggling with Vodacom as well, so what do we then do?

Go over to Sainet. Good service and no over billing probs.

I am changing everything over to prepaid. It is just so much easier and I have had a better experience. At least you know you won't be hit with a massive bill. Sigh. Why does it have to be so hard?

I ported over to MTN from Voda(prepaid tho) & have better stability with signal & sms's actually arrive where they are sent to on time, not 6 hours later....
For me they been an improvement.
Porting only took 24hours
