Run Windows apps on Chrome OS

A free app from Citrix systems will allow Google customers to run Windows “business applications” directly on the web giant's new operating system

This will definitely appeal to the corporates. WikiLeaks will force enterprises to find ways to keep their data secure and options such as the one in the article will be worth investigating.

Wait, what?
Free windoze?
MS is not going to be the impressed.
/me reads article.

EDIT:
Citrix Receiver works by connecting to the Citrix XenDesktop or Citrix XenApp servers already running in the datacenters of most corporate customers.
KA-CHINGA!
Pass.

But your still limited to what you can run. But even this Linux Fanboi still thinks its a waste of time to try it. I've come to accept the reality of OS and software - use the OS your software was intended for.

If you want M$ Office, then get Windows, if you don't want to run Windows, then get OpenOffice - don't biatch about it.

Citrix doesn't actually run applications on a PC. It allows you to access applications running on a server. (similar to remote desktop, but for multiple users and single applications)

Citrix Receiver is also available for Android, Windows, iOS, OS X, Symbian Liux and a few others...

This is glorified RDC (Remote Desktop)... I promise... It wont feel native... doesnt matter how they sugar coat it.
