Just out of curiosity, how much of that goes to RPM seeing that you used his forum to advertise it for free?

How can you say that im not taking consumer interests into account? I bring a PS3 into the country to sell which won't launch here for another 4 months... I make R400 on the deal which is a considerable amount less than any other corporation will charge.

Blu ray will work regardless, your technical aspect of it is irrelevant as it works
on our TV's.....tried and tested.

With regards to the technical aspects, I never said that it wouldn't work here. I was making a comment regarding the pricing and availability of NTSC PS3 games in the country after the PAL version launches here. And then you and the fanboy started sprouting off some BS about region coding. NTSC games will work, NTSC games have always worked ever since consoles were invented, but you will get a thick black border on the top and bottom of the screen. But I guess that's a personal sacrifice that some are willing to make. My concern was regarding pricing and availability of NTSC games in this country after the PAL version launches.
 
Region locking for movies has nothing to do with DVD or BluRay or HDDVD.
It has to do with the studios, who seem to be FOR region coding in the next formats, hence HD-DVD and BluRay will be region coded (for movies)
and Vista apparently reinforces region coding for DVDs.

Your not seen as a consumer cause you'll never buy from me and my consumers at least know that I sell quality products at the best AVAILABLE price.

Actually it's somebody who could be seen as a potential customer. I, and many others, could have been potential customers - however not with the obnoxious attitude that you've been displaying.
