That's 800 dying of "admitted" AIDS only [there's alot more dying of AIDS which are categorised under something else based on various social pressures [i.e. dying of a "lung infection" while the guy was full blown HIV] .

This still excludes "natural" deaths [age] , accidents and any other disease like cancer .

So i'd say 800 is a ALOT if the total birth rate is "only" 3k ......

Suddenly that 3k figures seems a bit low? What's the TOTAL death rate?

BTW, the reason I was suprised by the claim of 600-800 was that I has heard it was just over 1000 a day

How sad! The fact that South Africa could have proved the whole world wrong, not about AIDS but the perception about Africa and in particular the African native re their capabilities, intellect and capability of running a Government or any other science project or at all succeed in development! Pity only with this Aids debacle the contrary was again clearly exhibited on a International exhibition or Forum. Just live with it. You are going nowhere, destined for the same path of the rest of Africa, remaining the joke of human kind, seen as Natives from Africa and treated and respected for that only. Only one stood out and that was Madiba, the extreme opposite of all the perceptions, still admired and revered, also by me! What have we become! Dropped from the forefront of Engineering and science to the joke of humankind!

Its not racism. Its facts They are causing their own problems.
If I was a racist I would not let my kids play or have sleepovers across the street or let my neighbours kids play Computer games with mine in my house as they please. They are good kids and family's so I am sure there are many more if not most. Its the native criminals, (all races, but majority black) with this extreme form of violence and the GVT's lack of action to curb it as well as the intellect they show, like the aids in Canada, that gets to me nowadays. I asked the questions they cannot answer them. If that mean now I am racist then so be it. That's Your view. I just cannot see why then South Africa have the same decline as the rest of Africa and there is no apparent reason for that!

k so 3000 are born and 2000 are dyin therefore 1000 increase per day, therefore 365000 increase per year. Thats like 3,65m in a decade!

So in like 40 years the population will be huge!

I just hope that they are all gonna get jobs, get educated at least, AND NOT DO CRIME otherwise the few old geezers like me still around by then will be paying skyhigh pensioners taxes for their lazy @#$%# and SA will have gone to hell lol!!

We may even be back on dial-up by them, using 40yr old telkom exchanges hehe.

Carlhead : Um, no. The sources they use are horribly wrong and outdated. Go to statssa if you want to see some proper stats on births/deaths. You can also get the ASSA stats if you want.

That CIA factbook is horribly dodgy sometimes
