SA at boiling point

O damn, tomorrow I return to work after 4 weeks of leave. Thats even worse than Civil War. :(

Next week monday I have to write my first set of exams in Accounting Honours ... so take that! :p

boiling point ? Same was said in 1994 with the elections - and before that the state of emergency with the horrendous violence in the townships and in KZN.

Also with the referendum when FW got the go ahead for his actions to end apartheid.

Dunno mate - things could have been far more worse right now - and hopefully will not get worse.

will be interesting to see how things pan out - but I have hope. Kind of expecting the retorts about being positive and burying my head in the sand . But whatever gives them their jollies I'm cool with.

but hey - thanks to existentialism I am allowed to negate reality to suit my own needs .

A great many people think Zim is an excellent example, often for differing and apposing reasons. The Zimbabwians however disagree.

and history shows us Mugabe is due to go down in flames - when that downfall is I cannot say. But ja Mugabe's demise is unavoidable.

I hear you mate, but isn't that why we think of FW and Madiba as great leaders and why they won a peace prize, because of their efforts in stopping a break down?

They had the timing of the world cup to thank fore that I keep hearing how mandela was this great leader what did he actually do other than get bono getting all excited?

The rot started when he was in charge but he was more out the country pretending to be the fusking morgan freedman of africa

You obviously have not grasped the gravity of the situation. War was declared by the AWB against the ANC this morning. Far right forums have closed down this morning. People are arming themselves. The Suidlanders grouping have considered moving out. This country is already involved in Civil war.

What tosh! You need to take your reality pills.

I thought Morgan Freeman was trying to be him? As mentioned previously, the 1994 elections would have gone to the dogs if Mandela & FW didn't calm the storm.

the "rot" started during apartheid when people judged people on their skin. it didn't matter how hard someone worked or how decent they were, if they weren't white they did not have a very positive future in southern africa.

now the transition was to create equality and get africans who were neglected before back into the system, and it's all of a sudden a "rot"? i don't give a **** about Eugene Terreblanche when for every 1 white person killed 20 black people are killed too, and i'm sure at least half of those victims are definitely undeserving.

this is only a race issue because people **** themselves when a white person dies. it's also a racial issue because people are practically getting wet in their pants for the idea of war and that they can take part in it. i've also noticed Master Cain has been very quiet since the AWB retracted their statement, and i was watching the news all day yesterday too.
