Cabinet approves SA Connect Phase 2 — 100 Mbps for Home Affairs offices

South Africa’s Cabinet has approved the rollout of the second phase of the government’s SA Connect project.

SA Connect aims to provide 80% broadband access in communities and government facilities with a minimum speed capacity of 10Mbps, and 100 Mbps for high-demand facilities such as Home Affairs.

Guys help me understand how do FNO connect offices, do they get 100Mbps for whole building and then split that line speed across all devices "PC" or each device get 100Mbps line
I understand they use network switch but am more interested in how is split
And don't FNO charge more for this set up

They sell you a single link of the speed you opted for typically. How you build your internal network and use that within your building is not their problem.

There are many ways to skin that cat really, but no FNO will go in and care about the speed to each PC or device, that is for the company (or their outsourced IT provider) to care about. The FNO will provide an endpoint of a contracted speed and be done with it.
