Maybe the best reason to leave this country is to stop myself becoming the racist b@st@rd I know it is going to turn me into. Good enough for all you positive peeps?

That kind of public statement by a Government minister is creepy as hell,
and is also VERY similar to the kind of mindset that the old National Party scum
used to talk from.

Instead of 'non racists' being painted as commies and terrorists, now its 'racists' being
painted as inherently misguided, or being unwitting stooges of 'racist elements'.

Clearly the Government is talking to its moron voter-base, and trying to tap into
some sort of anti-racist (perhaps 'anti-white') element and sentiment.

Obviously the underlying message of it all, is to keep quiet and don't question
anything, if you are the 'wrong' color.

I was eight years old when Apartheid came to an end. I can honestly say that I do not have any memories of being segregated in any way. I was brought up by parents who tried desperately to raise me not to be racist, going so far as to punish me if I made any racist comments when I was growing up. Yet here I sit today, 21 years old, and I can't honestly say that I do not harbour any racist thoughts. I wouldn't say it is "mindless" racism, judging a person purely because of the colour of their skin, but rather I am racist towards the ANC and the people who run this country (I know that doesn't really make sense), as since the country was placed in their hands it has gone nowhere but down hill, and the moment anyone says anything about it, they are a racist.

I mean, let's be honest, could you imagine a company saying to a possible job candidate "We're sorry, we just aren't looking for a BLACK employee at the moment"? It would be a national uproar, yet it happens to whites all the time, and it is considered "equality".

Can see why you you would hate this country cause of the AA/BEE thing. Its probably one of the most common gripes on this forum. You know what the ANC thinks of your gripes though, so lets leave that aside.

As for hating this country cause of what Pallo says, thats just silly. Pallo's comments are hardly recognised or held in high esteem by anybody, and thus should not be seen as a reason to "hate" this country.

I personally thought his article was good. Think of me what you will, but I am impressed that he had the balls to say what a lot of us have been thinking.

I fit under the as yet undefined "indifferent" spectrum. It has become quite obvious to me that I can do nothing to change this country, so why even bother.

In addition to SA not needing Bullard, SA apparently doesn't need Electricity & Running Water.

Pallo Jordan should be reported to the HRC for hate speech.

"Deprogrammed" how Soviet of him.

Perhaps those considering relocating to other shores should approach Mr Jordan and get him to motivate a departure allowance or deduction.

You know what's funny, I actually am an environmentalist who works for a rural development NGO, so I'm literally a "liberal treehugger helping in townships," lol. :D
