I would have thought if they are going to get anything it will be either in the WC or Gauteng, so far nothing.I'm setting up to clown the hell out of the ZACP hypers around here. They're catching an ass-whoopin'

700 votes out of 1 million. So 700 idi amin's out of 1 million - that doesn't concern you at all?But you would have thought they were going to perform so well listening to some forumites here, some even going as to compare them to the unexpected EFF rise.

Most people I saw had the old ID books and got a IEC2019 stamp in them. I had a smart ID so no stamp. I would have thought the scanning of the barcode (which both forms of ID have), would be the obvious registering point where once scanned, that specific ID cannot be used again on voting day at any station (centrally linked system?).
If this is not the case then there exists a big loophole where smart ID holders can go and vote more than once at other stations. If you really wanted to, getting past the ink on the finger is relatively easy by either washing off, sanding it off, covering with makeup etc because that seems to be the only indicator that you have voted, seeing as the crossing out of your name would only be effective at the station that you were registered at?

What irregularities? You go first. People have already complained the ink wash off too easily and possible to do multiple votes. So I guess everyone is waiting to see how the results are going before they make a loud noise about the irregularities?
Ridiculous as it may sound, you might have a point here. I reckon zupta faction (basically EFF, isn't it) is still driving IEC (and country) in the background and once ANC drops below 50%, zuptas can have coalition with anc and control next government yet again. What irregularities? You go first. People have already complained the ink was off to easily and possible to do multiple votes.

Nope. A good chunk of DA supporters think they live in Europe/America and vote like people over there. Gonna see shyte if the DA ever get klapped out of the Western Cape ruling spot because of their silly voting patterns.
That being said the DA didn't do themselves any favours with a series of spectacular own goals over the past few years. From Zille's twitter rants alienating black youth, the De Lille debacle, CT water problems etc.
2019 should have been the DA's year but they bottled it.
Looks likely that everything is staying as it was, with less than 5% drops and increases all round. There is zero chance the DA takes another province. They'll most likely keep the Cape.
Ok time to update the first post...
By the way, Dawie Scholtz predicts an outright win for the DA in the Western Cape and ANC win in Northern Cape with the FF+ making huge inroads in the white electorate in the NC
