SA job crisis deepens

South Africa lost over 160,000 jobs in the past year, led by a massive drain in the community services industry, amid tough economic conditions in the country.

but but but ..... we're told daily how this country rocks and is going places, say it aint so

Bad news, bad news and more bad news!

Unions + ANC = Collapse

Let's just hope the SANDF is being kept combat ready! The hungry and unemployed will be rioting en masse one of these days!

"The mining and quarrying industry and electricity industry remained unchanged, StatsSA said."

Why am I then loosing my job due to retrenchment?

Viva ANC. Viva South Africa where all is well for the few ANC cadres and connected.

It's clear as daylight that that figure is understated but bad news is bad news

Where are those that said that the weak rand will make us strong and competitive?

It only works IF you have a huge and competitive export market that would swing the balance of the scale. Minerals is in a slump so there is not much left. We import much more than we should killing off local industry at the same time and our labour are expensive and incompetent. Strikes just to get a few days off does nothing to help. Thus like Zim we are borked.
