I just watched the weather report and for the first time in my life have I seen so many places with freezing point temperatures. SA is freezing over!

Where I am I have a heater, a hot water bottle, blankets and fart-food.... hope you guys make a plan.

More worried about power cuts! :( :(
 
Dropped to -6 during the night here.
Looking at forecast fox, temperature is currently 0!

An Eskom dude said on the radio we're ok as long as the whole country does not freeze over. Cold places here and there are ok, but as soon as a cold front comes over the whole country, peak demand will soar and they will have to load shed.
 
Its been crazy cold in PE for the last week and a bit. As i sit, there is a oil heater next to me, and I am covered with a blanket. Its crazy! plus the chill factor from the wind isn't helping either.
 
I drove the cr@p out of my car this morning just to ensure I increased my carbon footprint as soon as possible. I am all for global warming for certain times of the year...

Spare a thought for the guys in Sutherland. They've got a couple of minus 7
's to minus 9's coming up.

We must be in different PE's then - sure there's a nip in the air but crazy cold?

This is S.A not the northen states of the U.S or Britain. When the temp heads towards zero it's crazy cold okay :p
