Are we sure malcom != champie

Love that me and @TheChamp have numerous conspiracies surrounding us simply because we support president Cyril Matamela Ramaphosa, the democratically elected president of the republic of South Africa, in his endeavor to eradicate apartheid's legacy while not giving the 21% DA child that is always crying and throwing tantrums in the corner no attention.

Very wholesome to wake up to daily. 😊

We are on the right side of history and the deranged mob here is on the wrong side just like the deranged apartheid regime was. The apple really doesn't fall far from the tree.

So you guys support a guy that technically performs even worse than Zuma. Then brags about it?

Something seriously wrong with some people. Next Malema is the saviour of South Africa.

Herman is a one trick pony... When he doesn't get his way you get "Apartheid"
"Some people suffer, seriously, from self-imposed superior thinking, hence when they don't get their way, they resort to insults."

Love how apartheid was just nothing to the descendants of it's perpetrators while it's victims are still reeling 30 years later due to how deeply entrenched the evil apartheid racist regime really was.

What Mashaba is saying is proven here on MyBB in the political threads. The president signs a law, "Panty", "Squirrel", "South Africa is going to crash and burn", "we thought Cyril was different to Zuma (Zuma is considered the father of the call for real transformation in SA and some thought Cyril being president would mean an end to the call of the need for this country and it's economy to represent the true demographics of South Africa) etc.

Apartheid tactics are still alive. South Africans are not on the looney kool-aid like the DA and it's racist supporters.

We are supporting the destruction of apartheid's legacy, at long last. 🙂

And he's forcefully finishing what Zuma started in the ANC, Cyril is more afraid of the faction that takes no nonsense from the DA than he is the DA hence why he signed the progressive legislation and is telling the DA and business to bugger off.

It does seem that the DA will remain within the GNU. From how it looks, they are bargaining on the long term. For trade, well, it is a positive, but we need to remember that our existing and new markets will either react positively or negatively to Trump's trade war, hence might, and will, impact our relations with those nations. This is the only positive that I can take away, but there will be downsides.

What I do dislike about the DA at the moment is that they are blaming our Rand/market slump on the uneasiness that is experienced with the GNU, when this is a global phenomenon which must be recognised as such. Yes, what is happening within the GNU and the budget are contributing to the Rand and domestic markets.

Trump is attacking everyone, why pin it on an individual civil society organisation? Now the DA is playing to the ANC's tune.

For the DA's part, I hope that they are playing their cards right. Neither is the GNU a two-party structure, so there is more than two weights to the power sharing.

Maybe there will be changes made to the GNU... minorities being cut?

At this stage, the DA and FF+ are going at each other in the Western Cape. I don't think the DA wish to have the FF+ in the GNU. Today it was announced that the FF+ lost their ward 9 candidate to the DA, and in that discussion Leon Schreiber described the FF+ as an irrelevant small party. Their battle continues.

All in all. For the DA to have more power-sharing within the GNU, greater concessions will have to be made. Without knowing what is going on, I can only assume that this is the negotiation taking place. Business at this point would blame the right-leaning community, and business do play a role in governance.

Anyhow. I do question whether I will continue to vote DA. There is still time to change my mind.
The GNU is done for, all this is just the arrangement for it's funeral and successor.

You are clearly not paying attention to what the ANC is saying.

And with regard to the DA blaming the falling rand on the GNU collapsing and not Trump, it's just what the DA does best, misinformation and propaganda.

Yeah, I think people are conflating issues here. Tariffs and removal from AGOA were a certainty. Even the complete scrapping of AGOA remains a probability rather than possibility in my opinion.
When all is actually said and done, South Africa and the USA will have the same relationship the USA has with Iran, North Korea etc which is none.

We'll have our sovereignty and dignity, and maybe America will maybe find another advantageously placed geopolitical partner in Africa who has an abundance of mineral resource. 🙂

Its pretty standard for political discourse in this country.

The DA are bashed no matter what they do really.

If they do vote for the 2 bills, it will be spun that the ANC won the battle and the DA are pussies basically, even if that isn't the reality (it could of course be the reality, but we'll never know for sure)
"The DA are bashed no matter what they do really."

Because they are punks who are not in tune with the lived reality of this country while only commanding 21% of the voter share yet want to run the show.

Their latest scandal involved trying to strong arm the government and the president into reversing legislation passed all the way from parliament to his desk, that is how arrogant the DA is, they don't see the 400 reps in parliament put there by voters to come up, implement and amend existing legislation.

He's deluded. The likes of BOSA and ASA are dead anyway so may as well get paid.
The same ActionSA that played a pivotal role in kicking out the DA in the capital city of South Africa and now as it seems, out of the GNU.

Yeah right, really dead.

Typical DA loonies, anyone who puts their foot down and gives them a bad day is "dead". 🤣

I partly agree on bolded part. DA (Leon Schrieber) radically changed Home Affairs performance within such a short time but eventually you could say it benefited ANC because many will intentionally try to diminish his contribution if he quits voluntarily.
Yes, everything at Home Affairs that works was established by the great Schreiber of the mighty DA who didn't, not even once, take credit for work done or started by ANC members.
