I do believe the ANC of Ramaphosa is anti transformation. I do not however think those you mentioned will push for transformation, actual transformation. They too are in it for themselves as Zuma was in power for 9 years and didn't do much in terms of the transformation he speaks of now.

I don't believe transformation is about the 30%, but it is a factor in the transformation agenda.

Strained relations? Who's fault is that? And why are they so adamant Starlink operates in SA? it's not the only nation that said no to Elon. If the relations are to be smooth, they must be so via the USA respecting South Africa and it's decisions, not by them forcing SA to amend it's laws to suit them, it's not a good nor healthy partnership if it operates with ultimatums.

If Cyril isn't smart about this nor these things, it could be the end of him. Mashatile will give a statement against the decision to send out the gazette, just watch the space. Everything Cyril does or approves, Mashatile is against and will use it to campaign for 2027.
What transformation would you like to see that Ramaphosa is against? Could you enumerate instead of these vague generalizations?

Thought I was on your ignore list. 🤣

Let's first start by South Africa’s wealth gap growing under Ramaphosa, with an unemployment rate of 32%, disproportionately impacting black South Africans.

Now Ramaphosa prioritizes foreign investment over local empowerment. Easing BEE requirements for Elon Musk’s Starlink to operate in South Africa is seen as undermining transformation.

The ANC of Ramaphosa is more focused on maintaining power than driving meaningful transformation.

Transformation I'd like to see? Simple, for South Africa's economy to reflect it's demographics like in other countries.

You won't go to China or South Korea and find black people across the economy from management, to top management positions up to board members to the point where you'd think the majority in those nations are black people instead of Asian by just analyzing the economy and it's demographic makeup.

And how does local empowerment get the foreign investment money we need to grow the economy and get more jobs into the market?

You're hinting we can't have both local empowerment and foreign investment at the same time. We can.

By empowering local, people get upskilled and the companies operating here buy from local companies and they grow together. Always getting handouts via foreign investment isn't sustainable.

We empower local, inequality goes down, social cohesion is not stressed in SA.

We can offer tax breaks for foreign firms, not the bending of our laws to suit them.

I think the original statement about Dwaalboom cement works was that it didn't EMPLOY any South Africans not investment. Champy went off at a tangent, pretty much as usual. How many SA citizens does BAIC employ?
No, that was just an example, which is most probably a lie.

Here is what the claim was. And I went on to demonstrate that the entire post is a lie.

That is not how the Chinese work when investing in a country. Everything in that factory will be Chinese not a single local company will benefit from its construction or operation and you will be lucky if it employs a single South Africa. You can ask the people in Dwaalboom what happened once the Chinese took over the local cement factory and moved to Chinese suppliers shunning the local suppliera and workforce.

While we were on the topic of Tshwane, which @TheChamp pursues with a vigour not reserved for other municipalities, we should highlight some prominent failiures of ANC-run (mostly since 1994) municipalities.

Basically all rural municipalities have huge ANC majorities...

Did you realise no one was on the topic of Tshwane before you came along?

I have no one on my ignore list. I'm adult enough to skip over posts and posters I don't feel like interacting with.

On to your post,
- the reasons you state are ANC not ramaphosa. It was the same under Zuma. All he did was allow more of his incompetent and dodgy cronies access to state resources which the less intelligent in the mob interpreted as transformation.
- the whole Gupta era was seen by the corrupt and shady as transformative because Zuma and his cronies let a lot of people steal and get rich quick. That's not transformation
- the ANC have always allowed for an era of little accountability to fester
- the dysfunction of the state which got worse with Zuma but the ANC allowed has resulted in a less capable state which has impeded "transformation". The SOEs have been crippled and those would have played a huge role in the developmental state they preached about. Again Zuma ramped up their destruction but under the ANCs lackadaisical rule it would have got there regardless

The transformation the country needs is to vote out the ANC but not replace them with a RET retard party. Even Mashaba has gone the way of the RET in desperation for relevance. Get those basics right and an inclusive economy will emerge.

And Starlink isn't coming to SA, well at least not for now.

Leader of the EFF Julius Malema closes the address by singing Kill the Boer in the Free State.

It's always a case of that Jurassic Park quote from Ian Malcolm. They were so pre occupied with whether or not they could, that they didn't think of whether or not they should. Story of SA on all fronts really. I honestly don't know what he would do if all the Boers instantly vanished. Jirre the boredom would hit him hard lol.

The food they eat is imported from China and the local workers were replaced with Chinese workers that recide in dorms on the plant. My opinion on Chinese investments is that it is all smoke an mirrors at the expense of local industries.

The struggle is real...
What do you think he would do without it? Cease to be relevant. He is nothing without it. And so he will cling to it. A prosperous forward moving single goal SA is the worst prospect imaginable for him.

Juju is the type who is going to pull the 'an attempt on his life' card by mysterious and unknown khaki wearing white individuals with beards to help keep him relevant and enamored to his flock.

What is the name of this Chinese company?
