Yes, after MONC. No one will get elected as no one will agree. What do they need, 50%? What then? No President until 2027?
What makes you think that? the ANC has the most number of seats and can easily elect a President, as long as the other parties do not unite, it makes things very easy for the ANC.

That is mostly the reason why the DA would most likely avoid a MONC, unless if they prefer Paul Mashatile.

How much do you need to elect president?

So far:

1. DA says it will withdraw from the National Dialogue
2. DA will vote against department budgets with corrupt ministers

Now wait and see how the DA supporters here spin that into a win that is even greater than leaving the GNU and gloat about how they have bullied Cyril into submission.
It's not a win. It's a waste of time.

Both sides have lost in this exchange.

It is all about the blue lights. Once you taste that, nothing else matters. Those lights have some effects on the brains below it.

JFC DA... really playing into the narrative of being a weak party.

Ok, watched the press conference.

DA withdraws from the National Dialogue
DA will vote against the departmental budgets of Nkabane, Simelane, etc
DA will institute a MONC against Rama himself if he doesn't come to the table and fast...

Not bad. At least it isn't just a court case
