I was really surprised to see how many Afrikaner MPs there are in the ANC (probably many of them came from the NP/NNP). Bunch of clowns/traitors really. I really can't see how they ever socialise with fellow Afrikaners without being spat on.

Both recommendations made by ActionSA in exchange for its support for the fiscal framework of the budget appear to already be off the table.

Everyone is a threat to the DA these days, the ANC took wards from them, the PA does all the time and now the MK, if I didn't know better, I would say a other parties had a meeting where they resolved to form a united front against the DA.

Competitors are always threatened by superior competition. Why would political parties be friends? I thought you were of the opinion that polls and by-elections are rubbish. Yet if the DA loses a couple of them suddenly the world is collapsing for them.

The DA will grow massively next election. You need to be focusing on the absolute disaster and calamity the ANC is currently in. Zille, MKP, etc can’t help you. You are in deep trouble my friend!

I guess my point is no hard hitting successful white guy who can actually fix the situation (Tony Leon, etc) would actually go and defend the indefensible and be taken seriously.

That leaves guys like Carl Niehaus who no one in the Trump administration will waste 5 minutes of their time with. It’s a catch 22 that Serial is stuck in

I would suggest the ANC is the DA’s biggest friend and supporter. They gifted them political manna from heaven by very publicly advocating terrible unpopular policies and allowed the DA to even more publicly oppose them.

The crazier thing is that the angrier and more opposed the public get, the harder the ANC fights. All the DA has to do is say no. Meanwhile all you can worry about is what Zille ate for breakfast

The only problem is that Zille has successfully managed to burn bridges to other opposition parties, besides the new Freedom Front, I don't see any party wanting to go into any coalition with the DA.

The recent budget vote where the MK and EFF were their only allies should tell you everything, the Moonshot is dead.

Nope the rest of the parties are all ANC offshoots. Most of them were created to protect their leaders income.

Do you ever focus what is a threat to the ANC ? Btw, the MK is not a threat to the DA, no matter how much you want them to be. Winning a marginal ward by 22 votes does not constitute a "threat" to the DA voting share. Perhaps focus on how much the ANC lost in that ward between 2021 and the by-election. The results will be catastrophic!

Actually MK is a threat, but to SA , not the DA.
The problem is the ANC is self destructing in epic proportions and a lot of that support is heading to MK

My predictions are for the next elections :
ASA will wither
ANC will lose huge numbers
MK will be stronger
EFF will be about the same
DA is hard to call, but I think it will be stronger

True, but it's still hilarious that he thinks the MK is a threat to the DA vote. If that's what's being said at his local Gauteng ANC branch meeting then no wonder the ANC are not amounting any sort of comeback against MK.

The reason that the destruction will be absolute is because these guys refuse to take responsibility or introspect. It’s always someone else’s fault.

Any politician, white or otherwise, will grab an opportunity like this. This is especially true for anyone who wants to establish high level contracts with prominent businessmen of the host country.
