@Sultan Mustafa - so Sunday Times said Mashatile and Mantashe are the biggest supporters in the ANC's Top 7 to kick out the DA, but I can do Maths and that tells the other 5 potentially are not pro kicking out the DA. Ramaphosa and Mbalula are the biggest supporters of keeping the DA in the GNU.
If they really had the pull , DA would have been out a long time ago
I still think DA being in the GNU is wrong
Let the country burn sooner so we can start rebuilding sooner

Not shocking exactly. How many MPs are 'revolting'? Did it say anything in the article?

Said about 100 which is quite large (considering the ANC has only 159 MPs). But Fikile told them this will be dealt at the National Working Committee and National Executive Committee, although the feeling is if it is put to a vote, the people who want the DA out might win, but it might never get to a vote. I think Cyril's survival instincts are definitely benefiting the DA here. He cannot be sure he'd win a no confidence vote.

P.S @The_Right_Honourable_Brit

What does the article about Godongwana involving the DA in Budget 3 say? Just a brief summary, if you could. Thx
Helen Zille just said that Enoch is include the DA Deputy Finance Minister and DA Finance spokesperson Mark Burke in developing the new budget. The DA aims to (a) to cut expenditure and (b) not allow for any new taxes.

I think the ANC will always remain at least a 25% party.
Once the ANC drops out of government, their support eventually withers to nothing. Look at Cape Town / western cape. They have no interest in opposition politics. They’re in politics to loot and steal, that can only happen when you are ruling.

It's simpler than that even. The anc has no clearly defined path or ideology, so once they aren't in power they become irrelevant as the broad church ideal falls apart.

Yup. When the ANC loses their majority on any level of government, as shown over the past 15 years, they never get it back.
