Same. What's interesting here is that he declared this property as his own, but didn't declare it last year, after the "son-in-law" already bought it. He can't outrun all this attention forever. I suspect the arrest will come conveniently before the ANC 2027 conference...
He's acting using proxies and you'd need a lot of people willing to talk to pin anything on him. And I suspect those people are corrupt with no incentive to talk seeing that would disrupting their time at the ANC trough.

Malema did the same and has never been prosecuted for vbs but this is largely a NPA competency and resource issue. The corrupt have grown sophisticated and the government have kept the NPA under resourced so they never catch up.

All true and I predict that Ms. Batohi will cry 'corruption & lack of resources' close to end of her tenure or probably immediately after.

Unless she decides to pull a Ruyter, go retard and get "released".

It doesn't really matter. There is not a single high-ranking ANC "leader" that a) doesn't have massive skeletons in the closet and b) is actually capable of leading the country. Whether it is Paul, Fokoli, Lepoefie, <insert ANC leader name here>, it's all the same, and it is beyond hope.

When the ANC elected Zuma, the dam broke. It elected Zuma because at the heart of it, african monarchy is preferred over western democracy, in africa. Now, the ANC is a failed institution and is simply irredeemable.

Do you have the access to the article? I still think he is running rings on the inadequate declaration system that Parliament has going, because I also saw something about declaring it as a family home.

Pasted the article in the previous post. Also saw that he declared it as a family home, but now he can't be caught staying there, because his spokesman said that when he's in CPT he stays at the official residence and that won't change...
