Just a little googling woukd have saved the DA from embarrassment, this is proof that Cilliers Brink and his administration has no clue of what is going on in the city they ran.

So now Eskom takes billing for rates, taxes, water and sanitation? Interesting
Listen to this from your DA carefully before you choose to die remotely on that hill, all the way from KZN.

The DA is saying Tshwane should have cut electricity supply to the place, and the Deputy Mayor is using his position to shield the place from Tshwane ya Tima. Going as far as accusing the city for cutting power to Weskoppies but not this place because it is owned by the deputy Mayor.

Now explain to me how can Tshwane cut electricity to a place it doesn't supply with electricity? Shouldn't the fact that the DA administration themselves never cut power to the place raise alarm bells before they ran to the media?

Your party has been scoring one own goal after another, they should pause a little to rethink their PR strategy in Tshwane, it's not working out.

Fair play on THAT tweet, the one the MMC responded to didn't make that claim from what I read though. So maybe the MMC should reply to the right tweet to keep the context alive.

Busy preparing for an interview next week. Missed a lot.

Malema tabled the Bill to nationalize the SARB yesterday, uGogo is talking nonsense again saying black people can't use the land productively for jobs etc, FF+ Minister of Correctional Services says corporal punishment must return for those who can't afford little bail while he also said SA spends R11m daily on the upkeep of foreign prisoners.

DIRCO also rubbing shoulders with Iran irking those in SA who support the West. Many departments today to table their budgets including the Department of Labour. MK Chief Whip Colleen Makhubela and MK DP Hlophe to address the media today at 1p.m regarding the internal turmoil in the MK regarding them.

There is a lot going on. 🍿

And during a week where I'm swamped. Missing a lot. 😭

You might need to prepare some more so you can learn to read for comprehension since it still seems to be a stumbling block for you.

It is very simple but the DA are trying to spin it to suit their narrative. They ran with a half baked story that is sensationalised for maximum effect on their gullible supporters who are desperate for some bad PR on the new administration.

1. The area in question is not supplied by the city so the city has no jurisdiction to cut power.

2. The Deputy Mayor has no city account on the place because he does not own it, he leases it from It's owners.

3. The place is owned by North West Housing Corporation, they are the one who apparently have an unpaid account of millions with the city.

4. The North West Housing Corporation has told the DA that the reason they owe the city is because the Deputy Mayor's company has not paid them, I am sure you will agree with me that whatever happens between them and the DM's company is no business of the city and they alone bear all the responsibility they have for the account with the city.

What does Eskom have to do with R21,7 million in unpaid rates, taxes, water, and sanitation?
Here, take your time and read carefully, I am sure all the questions you have will be answered.

Of course they are spinning it to suit their narrative.

All political parties do so.

Does the whole thing have a definite whiff of corruption attached to it... hell yes.

Don't be stupid, although I know it is difficult. What does Eskom have to do with rates etc? As per your initial post, before you edited it and shifted the goal post.

There's nothing in your post that answers what Eskom has to do with rates?
My job is done on the topic, someone with a brain @ToxicBunny understands and admits that this was a political stunt gone wrong again for the Tshwane DA, maybe ask him nicely to explain in a language you can understand?

Wena domkop, you are no longer my problem.

So Eskom has nothing to do with rates then... And I'm the domkop lol.

I never had to admit it was a political stunt because it was always a political stunt and from all sides, and I don't admit it has gone wrong either, so stop reaching Champy.

It took you this long to figure it out? I put it to you that you are not beating the domkop allegations any time soon.
I'm not sure what reality you live in, but I look forward to the day when you take a nice, long break again from MyBB when the ANC doesn't get its majority that was shouted from the rooftops about.
