SA Politics Thread Part 11: The GNU Normal

Looks like they have forgotten that Trump's money for funding NGOs is no more, but maybe the DA will fund them, since these days enforcing bylaws is just an unnecessary annoyance to them.

I am surprised at DA's stance here but a reasonable explanation could be that all the illegal traders moved in next day after Ciliers Brink was removed as a mayor ?

This should gain greater prominence - the government using state intelligence to undermine a MP. Of course Zuma did this most blatantly but it has continued under Cyril (not unexpectedly).

As populism gains an ever-growing foothold in SA politics, this will become the norm, slowly but surely. We used to chuckle at how blatantly Mugabe did it - and got away with it - exasperatedly waving our hands at the Zimbabweans, asking them how they could "allow" it. It now seems to arrive on our doorstep.

It seems as if the frog-boiler intends on slowly boiling more species than just the whiteys

"The forest was shrinking, but the trees kept voting for the axe, for the axe was clever and convinced the trees that because his handle was made of wood he was one of them" - Turkish proverb

It's curious why she would be of so much interest. Maybe there's more than meets the eye to her. The rightwing delegations have wrought more damage but nothing much has been said of them beyond the usual political rhetoric. Not saying she's a spy but the focus on her doesnt make sense unless there's credible evidence she's a bloody agent.

Yes, if you are not lock and step with the looting movements communist speak then the only available answer is you are an agent.

There's a good reason the DA dumped her, she is so compromised not even Zille thought she was worth defending.

Yes everyone's an agent

What has this got to do with NGO's ?
This is bylaw's which is not enforced by NGO's
Also as far as i am aware there were only specific NGO's funded by the USA , mainly in the health environments
