Maybe you need to get current trying to insinuate everything is hunky dory for VW and Toyota ....
In addition the world is moving to NEV , SA isnt. SA will get left behind. It will make no sense for Car manufacturers to stay in SA

No one said it's hunky dory, I just told you Nissan has been exceptionally incompetent in SA and you came up with a lame excuse.

And my lame "escuse" is well known in the auto as well as other industries and has been going for years.

Just because it is a sore point for the ANC , doesnt mean it is "lame"

Their problems are their own fault. It's just easier to blame socio-economic issues, bad policies, Chinese cars etc. Everything else except themselves. I wonder what they're blaming in all the other countries where they have the same problem of pricing themselves out of the market...

Toyota and VW are operating in the same environment yet are doing way much better than Nissan.

Which part from the above is confusing you? Even Ford and Isuzu are coping just fine in the current environment, despite the fierce competition they are still able to remain relevant in the market and compete.

A good business is able to remain resilient despite all those challenges, that's what Toyota, VW, Ford and Isuzu are doing, what is it that sets Nissan apart? You guessed it, good, old fashioned incompetence.
