What exactly is "gestapo" about it?

The laws about illegal immigration have been on the US's books for decades, and these people deliberately broke them. Deporting them back to their own country is not in any way even remotely related to what the Nazis did.

There is no cruel and unusual punishment going on nor non judicial process going on either.
I may not be a student of history, but I am pretty sure the Nazis did not install gigantic air conditioning systems for the comfort of their detainees.

Another one caught lying to parliament. First he didn't know this Brown Mogotsi, now he's a comrade but not an associate. If that makes any sense.

Mchunu’s office added: “Furthermore, whilst the minister knows and has met Mr Brown Mogotsi, he is just a comrade and not an associate of the minister. The minister has never requested or received anything from him.”

This is in stark contrast to his previous claims in Parliament that he did “not know this person”.

Mkhwanazi has them panicking and getting caught in their lies...

This is great drama to watch.

Wonder if the DA are going to lay charges against him as well, that will be funny as fsck to watch them flail about that as well.

But that isn't dictating foreign policy. US gets to decide its foreign policy (which includes trade), just as much as South Africa does.
True. However, what if the tariffs are reactionary afterthought? "If you're friends with our enemy, then we're going to sanction your goods". Solomon Islands (can't recall if it was these or some other islands) were threarened with extreme violence when they tried establish "security" friendship with China. In our case, violence would be a waste of money sunce we're not strategically positioned.
It isn't the problem of the US that the SA government are a bunch of communist retards who don't understand economics. They understand in theory that they want to be an export driven economy, but also want to really piss off the largest importer of SA produced goods because of some scarfed terrorists in Israel.

Trump has simply said you don't get to do both. South Africa can choose to align itself with a genuine neutral foreign policy, like India does, which the US can work with and get the trade, or it can cosy up to Iran and get all the boon in trade that comes with dealing with them.

On the contrary, South Africa is extremely strategically positioned globally. Basically for the same reasons why the colony was established in the first place.

We are strategically placed yeah, but that is less important than it used to be with the shipping elements at play across the globe these days.

Masemola just denied he authorized the disbandment of the unit, contradicting what Sibiya has said and confirming Mkhwanazi's allegation.

The problem with Masemola seems to be that he is a hopeless coward and very willing to play dead when the corrupt are doing their thing. Mkhwanazi is seemingly his pillar of strength.

I am never going to vote for the DA, instead I am going to use my persuasion skills to make the government I voted for do what I want.

Disagree completely.

Suez Canal can only take so much traffic, and is in a very volatile part of the world.

Suez is but one reference,

I'm also talking of ports like Beira, Maputo etc that can be used as refueling and reprovisioning ports outside of SA.

We no longer really have the monopoly on "decentish" ports at the bottom of Africa.

In current times, i agree. In times of war South Africa's location would pretty important. Our minerals is what gives us the most importance however.

You see that's why we are a step ahead, illegal foreigners are criminals roaming around, as long as the government does not want to deal with them as the criminals they are, they can't deal with patriotic South Africans for defending their country from criminals.
You have just hit the nail on the head as to why so many people label ANC/EFF/MKP voters utter idiots - they are trying to protect South Africa from those trying to vote the criminals into power

You have an exaggerated sense of self importance and I will explain why.

ANC/EFF/MKP accounts for the majority of the electorate, and the people who support those parties, it then simply follows that those who are anti those parties are a minority and their feelings are of very little relevance.
