You really shouldn’t be. A commission of inquiry and multiple reports will be requested for these very grave accusations. Cereal will apply his mind once he gets these reports. The very worst thing that may happen is a minister gets suspended on full pay and then reinstated when the ANC integrity commission clears everyone of all wrongdoing
You forget the shamsham will fsck the case up as well.

Well arguably stealing from a scene is actually better than causing the death of someone by denying them medical care
Arguably yeah, but usually those riots involve violence towards innocents and if there are trucks involved occasionally death of a driver.

That’s why she’s there. Of course no journalists will be able to ask questions. And if they do it will be along the lines of “how did it feel being in the Oval Office as the best negotiator in the world?!”

Yeah well , there are allways other things associated.
I may not like what CHampy stands for , but there are worse in this thread.
We have some here who have shown themselves to support those who deliberately rape/kill/molest/assault children/women and men. Ie Russsian lovers. See quite a few of them here.. Even worse in some of teh USA threads

  • Lieutenant-General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi has revealed that Mogotsi, police minister Senzo Mchunu’s alleged associate, is linked to tender kingpin Vusimuzi ‘Cat’ Matlala.
  • He revealed this as early as March to Parliament. However, Mchunu had denied any association with Mogotsi but has now confirmed that they were comrades.
  • National Assembly Speaker Thoko Didiza has since tasked three committees to investigate the explosive allegations.
Brown Oupa Mogotsi, the shadowy figure at the centre of Police Minister Senzo Mchunu’s underworld storm, is not an ordinary person.
He is a former MK combatant with clout, ministerial ties, a linguist and a mystery operator.
On Sunday, KwaZulu-Natal Police Commissioner Lieutenant-General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi revealed that Mogotsi, who he said was an associate of the minister, was linked through WhatsApp conversations to flamboyant tender don Vusimuzi ‘Cat’ Matlala.
Mkhwanazi detailed how he had learnt about a supposed plot against him through a WhatsApp message from Mogotsi and had confirmed his identity and proximity to the minister with Mchunu’s chief of staff, Cedrick Nkabinde.

He revealed this in March while addressing the Police Portfolio Committee; however, Mchunu had denied any association with Mogotsi but has now confirmed that they were comrades.
According to Mkhwanazi, an analysis of Matlala’s phone revealed that on 1 January 2025, Mogotsi sent a WhatsApp message to Matlala. It reads: “I have arranged a meeting for Sibiya and the minister; they must have a solution.”
In another message, Mogotsi wrote to Matlala: ‘The task team that came to your house and harassed you has been dissolved. They got the letter on Monday. As we speak, they are bringing all dockets to Sibiya.’

This is the same political killings task team that had earlier arrested Matlala, and Mchunu had ordered its disbandment without the approval or consultation with the national commissioner, Fannie Masemola.

Mkhwanazi also revealed that Matlala, who had been given a R360 million tender with the police, was bankrolling the political endeavours of Mogotsi and Mchunu.
He said this was supported by evidence of conversations and the proof of payments of guests for the ANC’s January 8 celebration travelling costs and gala dinner in Cape Town.

Brown Oupa Mogotsi in full battle cry. Mogotsi is at the centre of the allegations of police minister Senzo Mchunu’s alleged criminal ties revealed by KwaZulu-Natal top cop Lieutenant-General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi.

Who is Brown Oupa Mogotsi?
  • He is from Seweding in the North West province and owns an upmarket restaurant and bar in Mafikeng, to which he is known to summon HODs and MECs for instructions on tenders. He is out on parole for murder.
  • He served in the erstwhile ANC military wing, uMkhonto weSizwe, as a combatant, was exiled and received military training in several countries.
  • He is close to the top echelons of the ANC, including several ministers, especially those who served in the MK.
  • He speaks more than 10 foreign languages fluently, including Portuguese and Mandarin. Sources claim that he used a foreign language whenever he was talking to Mchunu on the phone to conceal their discussions from eavesdroppers.
  • He is linked to five companies registered between 2002 and 2013, but they are all currently listed as having final deregistration on company records.
  • In May 2018, his Brown Mogotsi Foundation filed an urgent application at the North West High Court to force the withdrawal of Supra Mahumapelo’s unconstitutional leave of absence and subsequent appointment of Finance MEC Wendy Nelson as acting premier.
  • In May 2023, he used the foundation to successfully lobby the provincial legislature portfolio committee on community safety, transport management, public works and roads for access to records and evidentiary proof about criminal cases registered with the department of police crime investigations, or the Hawks.
  • In September 2023, he dragged the provincial department of health to the high court in Mafikeng and interdicted the awarding of a catering service tender.

I get the feeling he's probably a former Mbokodo spook.

What is a comrade? Why do these third-rate journalists not use “comrade”. Is this a commonly known word that we’re all supposed to understand?
It means someone who you aren't an associate with obviously... Like surely you get it man, it's not complicated.

So there have been some recent reports I have read that are supporting the view that the ANC is slowly imploding.

1. ANC membership in good standing is acting like DSTV top level subscriptions. It may get so bad they just stop reporting numbers soon. A 29% drop in 2 years is insane.
2. Some by election results in Pretoria where DA is showing substantial gains. Our Mayor is from a party who is not even contesting. That tells you something. You have a Major without any electorate lol

Didnt Champy allways say the election numbers are king ? Well the last set of by elections are showing the true picture and lending credence to what some are saying
It is also showing the lie that some are saying everyone is happy with the state of teh city
