It's amazing that there are people out there that would not want her as mayor, and it all comes down to skin color, what a sad bunch of humans.

In South Africa, ignoring the best person for the job because of skin colour has been a disaster, but will be perpetuated:

15 October 2008

Cape Town Mayor Helen Zille has been named the world’s number one mayor by urban affairs think-tank City Mayors, coming tops out of a group of 820 mayors nominated by more than 74 000 voters worldwide.

Residents of Alexandra township have issued a stark warning to the City of Johannesburg, threatening to disrupt the upcoming G20 summit if their longstanding grievances over service delivery and crime are not urgently addressed.

He has been cleared and there was nothing concrete anyway. He will be reinstated and we will move.
Well the ANC and the PA are birds of a feather so perhaps they will. Neither party can criticise each other over corruption...

Indeed. But then again it also takes time and wisdom to grow out of our tribal tendencies. There is no doubt that she's the best person for the job – having won Mayor of the Year previously, solutions are literally being handed on a silver platter. As much as I dislike parts of the DA (resentment is growing in Cape Town, at least in middle-upper class areas) and will always vote for Cape Independence, the DA remains our only ticket for the future wellbeing of SA.

They should do so.

Pierce that little illusion that the anc wants to put on.

Get wrecked Anele

I've never been a fan of Zille and made it clear here. Always felt she was tone deaf and needed to find another way to get her point across.

After this interview she's earned my respect. Seems like it doesn't matter how much you sugar coat it, idiots like Anele will never change their mind about whatever kak is in their heads.

The only way to take them on is to say it how it is, and bring facts to the table. Can't seem to find a single positive comment about Anele in that video, even from black people...

That's what South Africa is all about, we are not flip floppers, we stand firm in our convictions.
@TheChamp, I'll give this one.
I recall in the 80's said they would would destroy the South African economy and make the country ungovernable. They have certainly not waivered from that task and stuck manfully to their guns. Viva ANC Viva.
