We were far worse then than we are now. We had the players but were just not doing well. We drew with Spain in a FIFA sanctioned friendly as well. We wiped the floor with a group that included Nigeria.

We're not the best on the continent, let alone tge world, but we're going to give them a run for their money.

I honestly hope we do.. But I have a suspicion that the rest of the world has grown better than we have. If we manage to get out of the group stages I'll be impressed.

But champy is living in some dream world where bafana bafana have a realistic chance against the US.
